Open Networkers

I think mine change from time to time. Ning is so deep in its friendly and customizeable attributes, I have to say it is ranking high in its functionality.

Ryze and Linked In are probably my other favorites..

What are yours?

Hello Dawn,

I like this Ning functionality very much. It is ahead in technology, more web 2.0 than e.g. LinkedIn. Real interaction is possible here and the adding of almost any html-feature makes it possible to create usefull functionalities and thus 'value'to the Open Networkers. I have just added a new international Job-Board for the ON. It wasn't easy I can tell you but it is working, same as the other one.

Greetings,

Ray

hahaha, thank you Dawn. It was time I got a bit more presentable..;-) How do you like the Intenational Job-board, might be something for helpingfriends as well? You can become an Affiliate and copy and paste a hyperlink or button on you site..

Greetings,

Ray

P.S. : what is the name of your child? I noticed all the photo's..

Hi Ray,

I have 2 children. Kyle is now 8 (he is my photographer) and Caitlyn will be 3 next month. Happy to affiliate your work.. Hey I blogged about opennetworkers last night.. http://linkedinhfcngroup.blogspot.com/

Phil-- Welcome to Ning! It is more fun than LinkedIn, because the people have faces here. :D

Just joined Ning and am very impressed so far - looking forward to digging in deeper in the days ahead. LinkedIn is also a powerful networking site that has worked for me in the past. BUT, I have to say I'm pretty excited about taking Ning for a test dive!

My favorite is for sure LinkeIn. I am #2 in Norway regarding numbers of connections and are using it as an instrument when I set up investor matchmaking events.
All the best,
Odd

My primary network is LinkedIn. I have profiles on OpenBC, Ryze, and Ecademy and am also active on Zaadz. Just do not have time to keep up anything but LinkedIn.

Linked In has been good to me so far. Have not really looked at anything else, since so much of my time and effort has been put into Linked In.

I just started experimenting with LinkedIn and stumbled on to Ning. I’m not sure what will come of it, but am anxious to see what opportunities they may open up.

OK Dawn, so I got religion and truly jumped into ning. I created my own social site because of you. Hummmm http://learningconversations.ning.com/

Linked In and Ecademy. I have both received clients and shared clients on those two sites
OpenBC has been interesting and it connects me with my European contacts
Ryze I never really got into much

I think Ning has huge potential - more like a MySpace meets LinkedIn!

http://www.linkedin.com/profile?viewProfile=&key=260488 is my linked in profile - please connect with me!

Graeme, I quite agree with you on your assessment of Ning. I LIKE the blend of BEST MySpace functionality and the business networking of LinkedIn. I have not used Ecademy all that much.

Today I had my first 'LinkedIn' Meetup.com event at Panera. http://entrepreneur.meetup.com/1195/
