I don't like the Java upload either, I also just use the Youtube code. I guess Ning wants more content (the more content, the more they earn, there is a limit for each portal after which you have to pay)

Thank you for your comment. be informed that it migth be a slightly different codec in which your avi (is it an avi?) is decoded. What you can do is upload it to Youtube first and then add the code to the ON.
